Audiosurf 2

Audiosurf 2 is about turning your own music into a lane-riding score chase, and that simple idea still gives it a distinctive hook. By our assessment, its best quality is how cleanly it translates a song into motion: picking lines, catching colored blocks, and reacting to the track’s shape can make a familiar piece feel newly patterned. The cost is repetition, because the pleasure depends heavily on the music you feed it and on how much you enjoy the same lane-based loop over and over. In practice it feels more like an interactive music toy than a conventional racer, with short bursts of concentration rather than a long campaign. Compared with the first game, this sequel is generally remembered as the broader, more polished follow-up. The number in the title is part of the name, and the real appeal is still that your library becomes the level list.
