Atom Zombie Smasher

Atom Zombie Smasher is the kind of strategy game that cares more about triage than grand conquest, with tiny squads, evacuation plans, and a city map under constant pressure. By our assessment, its strength is the clean mix of tactics and logistics: sending units, holding streets, rescuing civilians, and deciding which district gets saved first. The downside is that it can feel unforgiving and brisk, because one bad placement or one missed rescue changes the whole run. In play it has the neat, brittle feel of a tabletop disaster exercise, where every move is small but matters. Compared with sprawling strategy games, it is stripped down and faster, which makes it easier to read but less about long-term empire-building. Atom Zombie Smasher suits people who like short tactical decisions and fail states that come quickly, and it leaves little room for anyone wanting deep base management.
