Army Men RTS

Army Men RTS takes the toy-soldier idea and turns it into a real-time strategy game about moving tiny green units, managing bases, and fighting over household-scale battlefields. By our assessment, its main charm is the visual gimmick: the whole army-men theme gives the usual RTS routines a playful edge. It is good at the immediate readability of units and the toybox feel of the maps, which makes it easier to follow than some denser strategy games. The downside is that the concept can only stretch so far, and the joke of plastic soldiers does not automatically make the strategy deeper. In practice, it is a familiar RTS structure with resource handling, unit production, and map control, just wrapped in a smaller, sillier frame. It sits below the heavyweight classics of the genre in complexity, but above pure novelty because the formula is still doing real strategy work. The rating is average because the hook is clear and the play style is solid, yet the ceiling is limited by the gimmick itself.
