All Guns On Deck

All Guns On Deck sounds like pure spectacle, but the name points toward a game that is mainly about piling weapons onto a ship and managing the chaos that follows. By our assessment, that kind of setup usually suits people who like action mixed with light strategy, where equipment choices matter as much as reflexes. Its appeal would come from the scramble of outfitting a deck and keeping the fight readable when the screen fills up. The obvious limit is that this sort of idea can stay narrow if the weapon variety or mission structure is thin. In play, it is likely to feel busy, loud, and driven by short bursts of decision-making rather than long planning. All Guns On Deck sits closer to a compact combat game than to anything deep or grand, and the title already tells you how little restraint it wants.
