Alien Hominid Invasion is built for players who like loud, hand-drawn arcade action and do not mind getting knocked around while learning the rhythm. By our assessment, its strength is the energy of a side-scrolling brawler with co-op chaos, where dodging, swarming enemies, and quick reactions matter more than careful planning. The downside is that this kind of game can feel visually busy and mechanically repetitive once the novelty of the cartoon style wears off. In practice it is all about short bursts of movement, simple objectives, and a lot of comic noise on screen. It sits in the run-and-gun and beat-’em-up family rather than in anything strategy-heavy, and that is exactly why the ceiling is the usual arcade one: score, repeat, improve, repeat again.
