Age of Cavemen is a simple strategy game built around the prehistoric settlement loop: gather, build, fight, and keep a tiny tribe moving forward. By our assessment, it works best when a player wants light management rather than a deep city builder, because the systems are broad enough to follow but not very wide. The upside is the clear shape of the play, with resource use and progress easy to read. The limit is that it does not seem to offer much room for complexity or surprise once the routine sets in. In practice that usually means short, steady sessions and a lot of familiar tasks. It sits closer to an accessible mobile-style strategy game than to a demanding grand strategy title, and the appeal is mostly in its plain survival rhythm.
