Academia : School Simulator

Academia : School Simulator is about running a school rather than living through student drama, and that makes it more of a management game than a story game. By our assessment, its best side is the routine of placing rooms, tracking staff and students, and watching a campus take shape under pressure from schedules and money. The downside is the usual one for detailed simulators: the loop can become busy, spreadsheet-like, and a little detached from the human side it is simulating. In practice, there is a lot of balancing needs, fixing layouts, and reacting to problems as they spread through the school. It sits alongside other management sims, but the school setting gives it a cleaner everyday rhythm than many city-builders. Academia : School Simulator is for players who like systems first and atmosphere second.
