Absolute Drift

Absolute Drift is the sort of driving game that turns sideways slides into the whole point, and that makes it attractive to players who like precision more than racing. By our assessment, its strongest quality is the clean focus on control: you learn a car by easing it, catching it, and linking drifts rather than by hammering a throttle line. The trade-off is that it is deliberately narrow, with less of the crash-heavy spectacle or vehicle variety you would get from broader arcade racers. In practice it has a calm, repeat-until-clean feel, and the course layouts ask for patience, timing, and a steady hand. It sits closer to minimalist skill games than to big-budget racing, which is why it stands out. The Astrina catalogue files it under Games, and that plain label fits the small, concentrated shape of the experience.
