100 hidden snails 2

100 hidden snails 2 is a hidden-object puzzle game, and the name already tells you the joke: the whole task is to search carefully, spot tiny details, and keep going until the last snail turns up. By our assessment, that is exactly where it should be judged, because these games live on the satisfaction of sharp eyes and patient scanning rather than on broad systems. The good part is the clarity of the goal, which makes the play easy to understand in a minute and then pleasantly obsessive after that. The downside is equally plain: if you do not enjoy hunting through busy scenes, there is nothing else to lean on. In practice it is a calm, repetitive kind of attention, closer to finding objects on a cluttered page than to solving a big puzzle box. Compared with story-led games, it is much narrower, but that narrowness is the point here. 100 hidden snails 2 should please people who like neat little searches and does not pretend to be anything grander.
