DerpDEX (zkSync)

DerpDEX (zkSync) is a crypto exchange on zkSync, so it is aimed at people who want on-chain swapping with lower-friction fees and faster confirmation than mainnet trading. By our assessment, it makes the most sense when someone already lives in that ecosystem and wants a DEX interface instead of a centralised account. The upside is the familiar exchange flow: connect a wallet, pick a pair, swap. The trade-off is the usual one for this kind of venue: you still need to manage wallet security, chain choice and token risk yourself, and the catalogue label tells very little beyond the basic role. It sits in the crowded field of chain-specific DEXs, where convenience is tied to the network you are using. The name points at zkSync, and that narrow focus is exactly what it is for.
