BitMEX

BitMEX is the version of that name that people think of when they mean a crypto exchange with a reputation for advanced trading tools. By our assessment, it is strongest where order management, contract trading, and a more technical setup matter more than a simple buy-and-hold flow. The cost of that focus is familiarity: it asks for more attention than a plain spot app and can feel dense if all someone wants is a quick purchase. In practice it looks like a professional trading surface rather than a casual wallet with a buy button. BitMEX belongs to the more demanding end of the exchange world, and that is exactly why some users choose it while others will pass it by.
