Balancer V3 (Base)

Balancer V3 (Base) is the Base-network version of Balancer’s on-chain exchange system, and by our assessment, it matters most to users who already live in DeFi and want a place to swap assets or supply liquidity. Its real strength is the pool-based design, which can support more than a plain one-pair swap. The downside is the usual one for this kind of tool: you have to manage wallet access, network fees, and the risk that prices move while you are acting. It feels technical because it is technical, with more attention on tokens, routes, and pool settings than on glossy screens. Against centralised exchanges it is more direct and more self-managed, and against simple swap pages it is more flexible. The number 3 in the name marks the current Balancer version rather than a quantity.
