WINkLink

WINkLink is one of those blockchain oracle names that mostly matter to people building or using smart-contract systems, because oracles feed external data into chains. By our assessment, that is the real point of it: it is infrastructure, not a shiny end-user app. The strength of that role is obvious enough, since smart contracts need outside information to do useful work, but the downside is equally plain — the whole thing is technical, dependent on trust in data feeds, and not something most people interact with directly. In practice, it sits behind other products and disappears into the plumbing, which is normal for an oracle. Compared with consumer-facing crypto projects, WINkLink is narrower and less visible, and its usefulness shows only when the surrounding apps actually depend on it.
