Venus BETH

Venus BETH is a tokenised ETH-staking-style asset inside Venus, aimed at users who want Ethereum exposure in a form that can be used in DeFi markets. By our assessment, its good point is that it packages a staked or wrapped ETH position into something with extra utility inside the protocol. The trade-off is that you are no longer holding plain ETH, so the user takes on wrapper risk, protocol dependence, and the need to keep track of what exactly backs the token. In practice these assets tend to feel like a second layer on top of the original coin, useful if you are already working inside that system and awkward if you are not. It sits between native ETH and a DeFi collateral token, not as a replacement for either one. The ceiling is set by the whole Venus setup, because the token only makes sense where that infrastructure matters.
