Venus BCH is a wrapped or tokenised BCH-style asset inside the Venus ecosystem, so it serves people who want Bitcoin Cash exposure in DeFi rather than on the base chain itself. By our assessment, the appeal is straightforward: it lets BCH be used in lending or collateral setups where the underlying coin would not normally go. The cost is the usual one for wrapped assets, because you add protocol dependence and extra moving parts on top of the original asset. In practice that means another token to track, another redemption path to understand, and another place where the user has to trust the system design. It sits closer to other wrapped crypto representations than to native BCH, and it is only interesting if the Venus environment is already the point.
