The Sandbox (Wormhole)

The Sandbox (Wormhole) is the bridged version of a crypto asset, meant for moving value across chains rather than rethinking what the asset itself is. By our assessment, that makes it useful mainly for people already working inside cross-chain DeFi and already comfortable with bridge risk. Its strength is interoperability: it gives a familiar token a route into another network without asking the user to start over from zero. The honest downside is that wrapped and bridged assets depend on the bridge and its mechanics, so the trust model is more complicated than with the original token. In practice this is less about owning something new and more about dealing with an imported representation that has to stay in sync. Compared with plain The Sandbox, The Sandbox (Wormhole) is a more technical, more fragile-seeming version of the same idea.
