The Floor

The Floor is a cryptocurrency, so its appeal is the basic promise most coins make: a token you hold and move on a ledger rather than a normal product with a clear job. By our assessment, that makes it easy to describe and hard to distinguish without more public substance. The downside is also the usual one for this kind of coin: price swings, thin real-world use, and a lot of dependence on community belief. In practice, that means reading it as a speculative asset first and a payment tool second. Compared with the bigger names in crypto, it gives you no obvious reason to expect special utility, and the plain name does most of the work.
