Terminal

Terminal brings to mind a place where money is supposed to move quickly, and as a cryptocurrency that is the basic promise it is making. By our assessment, that promise is still a narrow one, because a coin can be cleanly designed for transfer or trading and still not amount to a tool most people use day to day. The good part of that model is its focus: it does one thing in theory and avoids the clutter of a bigger platform. The downside is that the usefulness can stop at the edge of the crypto market, where adoption and trust matter more than a catchy name. In practice, Terminal would be one more asset to follow, not a payment app or a service that removes work from the user. Compared with mainstream financial tools, it sits much closer to speculation than to convenience. The ceiling is the same one that limits most coins: without broad use, it remains mostly a market object.
