StarkGate Bridged USDC (Starknet) is a bridged dollar token for moving USDC value onto Starknet, so it mainly matters to people already using that network and its apps. By our assessment, it is practical in the narrow way bridge assets are practical: it lets balances live inside the chain people actually want to use. The trade-off is familiar too, because bridged tokens depend on the bridge design and on the market treating the wrapper as equivalent to the asset it tracks. In use, that means one more layer of plumbing between the holder and plain USDC, with all the usual need to notice which chain the token sits on. It sits closer to network infrastructure than to a simple spendable coin, and it is not the thing to reach for if the base asset on the main chain is the point. The rating stays modest because this is mostly a technical wrapper, not a strong product on its own.
