StarkGate Bridged Dai (Starknet) exists for people who want DAI inside Starknet rather than on Ethereum, and that narrow job is exactly what it does. By our assessment, the appeal is practical: a familiar dollar stablecoin, moved through StarkGate, so it can be used in Starknet apps and liquidity pools. The downside is the usual bridged-asset problem, because you are adding a bridge layer between the token and the network where you spend it. In day-to-day use it feels like plumbing that sits quietly in the background until you need that token in the right chain. Compared with native stablecoins, it is less clean and more dependent on the bridge design, but that is the price of portability. It is for users already inside Starknet, not for anyone looking for a simple, single-chain DAI balance.
