Stake DAO CRV is a tokenized exposure to CRV inside a DeFi staking setup, aimed at people who already know what Curve-related governance and yield layers are doing. By our assessment, the appeal is in turning a more active DeFi position into something easier to hold inside a wallet. The downside is just as specific: the position inherits the complexity of both the underlying token and the wrapper, so it is not a clean substitute for direct ownership.
