By our assessment, the point is not novelty but plumbing: it exists for users who need the tokenized form rather than plain ETH. That also means the limit is built in, because the value depends on the rules and trust model of the wrapper, not just on the market price of the underlying idea. In practice these tokens feel more like infrastructure parts than something casual holders reach for.
