By our assessment, it is basically a wrapper around a share-like asset, so the appeal is in exposure and transfer mechanics, not in a separate payment world. The trade-off is obvious: you inherit crypto’s complexity while depending on whatever the underlying tokenization setup is meant to mirror. In practice that usually means more structure than a plain meme coin and less clarity than a direct share or a normal fund. Sandisk (Backpack Securities) sits in that awkward middle space where the product is less about use and more about packaging, and the packaging is the whole point.
