By our assessment, the good part is obvious: it can package a familiar store-of-value idea into something that lives on a chain and moves like a token. The catch is equally familiar: tokenized gold depends on the structure behind it, on how the backing is handled, and on whether the claim is actually meaningful in practice. As a category it is more concrete than many random crypto names, but it still asks for trust in the wrapper rather than in the metal itself. It sits closer to a synthetic financial product than to a normal coin, and the gold part matters more than the STRATO label.
