Speedrun

Speedrun takes its cue from gaming language, so the name suggests haste, momentum, and a kind of trader mindset more than any everyday use. By our assessment, that can make it memorable, but it also leaves the same old crypto problem: a sharp label is not the same thing as a strong design. Tokens in this space are usually judged by what they claim to do, how clearly they are explained, and whether anyone can point to more than a fast-moving market story. The downside here is the obvious one: a name built on speed can sound energetic while still saying very little about actual function. In practice, this is the sort of coin that sits closer to the speculative end of the shelf than to anything payment-shaped. Speedrun has the quick read, but not much else to lean on.
