Skate

Skate carries the feel of a project built for movement, which is exactly the sort of thing crypto users notice when a token is tied to an ecosystem or utility story. By our assessment, the appeal is the name’s energy and the sense that it belongs to something active rather than purely speculative. The limit is that that story can stay thin fast if the surrounding network is not doing enough real work, and then the token has to lean on branding. In practice these names often live or die on ecosystem activity, not on the token alone, so the experience is less about the coin in isolation and more about whether there is a reason to use it. Against the bigger, more established tokens, Skate sits in the crowded middle where attention is scarce and usefulness has to be explained. It is more plausible for people already inside that network than for anyone hunting a simple, self-evident crypto asset.
