Sequel

Sequel is an unusually plain name for a cryptocurrency, and by our assessment, that plainness is both its best trick and its biggest problem. It sounds like it should belong to something that follows on from an existing project, but the name alone does not tell you what the token actually powers or why it matters. In crypto, that kind of vagueness is risky because many tokens already struggle to prove they are more than a symbol. The upside is that the word is easy to remember and does not try too hard to impress. The downside is that, in practice, a token like this can end up feeling generic unless there is a strong ecosystem around it. Sequel sits in the broad middle of crypto branding: memorable enough to notice, not informative enough to trust on sight. It is better when read as a placeholder for a real use case than as proof that one exists.
