Resupply USD

Resupply USD is the more legible version of the previous idea, because the USD tag tells you it is meant to track the dollar rather than float freely like a volatile coin. By our assessment, that makes it closer to a stablecoin or debt-market asset inside DeFi than to a general-purpose crypto token. Its strength is familiarity: dollar-linked units are easier to reason about when people want a steadier numeraire for lending or trading. The weak point is the one every dollar peg inherits, namely the need to trust the design that keeps it near the target and to live with the protocol risk underneath. In practice this kind of token feels useful only as long as the peg story stays believable. Compared with plain volatile crypto, Resupply USD is meant to be calmer, but it is not the same thing as holding dollars.
