Re7 USDC lives in the same stablecoin lane as USDC itself, so its job is plain: give crypto users a dollar-pegged asset that behaves less wildly than most coins. By our assessment, the good part is the familiar stablecoin use case — moving value, parking funds, and keeping accounting simple inside crypto systems. The downside is equally familiar, because a token like this stands or falls on the peg and the structure behind it, not on independent price excitement. In practice it is the sort of thing people hold for function, with little to admire beyond the function. Compared with broad-market coins, it is more utility than story.
