By our assessment, the appeal is plain: it packages a stock-like claim into something that can move onchain, which is a very specific kind of financial plumbing. The downside is just as plain, because tokenized stock structures add layers of issuer risk, platform dependence, and legal complexity that ordinary shares do not have in the same way.
