Probity

Probity sounds like it wants to signal honesty, but by our assessment, that promise by itself does not tell you much about the coin’s actual job. As a cryptocurrency, it would live or die on whether people can trade it, store it and find a reason to use it beyond the name. The upside of this kind of token is the standard crypto one: fast movement and easy handling inside wallet systems. The downside is that a virtue-flavoured label can be thinner than the reality behind it, especially when the market is already full of similar assets. Probity belongs to the large middle ground of tokens where the question is not what the word means, but whether the project behind it gives the word any weight.
