P2P Protocol leans hard into the language of direct exchange, which is exactly what the acronym promise in crypto is supposed to do. By our assessment, it reads less like a consumer token and more like an attempt to borrow the credibility of peer-to-peer systems and protocol design. Its good side is obvious: the name is plain, technical, and easy to place. The limit is just as obvious, because the phrase can describe almost anything in the space and still leave the actual token undefined. In practice, that means the project would have to earn attention through substance, not through the label alone. P2P Protocol sits among the many tokens that sound infrastructural before they sound specific. The name is precise enough to set an expectation, but not enough to tell you whether the thing meets it.
