The real strength of that category is plain enough: if it works, it can reduce friction between networks that would otherwise stay isolated. The trade-off is complexity, because interoperability projects tend to ask for more technical trust than a simple token does. In practice, they can feel useful to builders and abstract to everyone else, which is a common fate for infrastructure crypto. OneLedger sits closer to enterprise or protocol tooling than to meme coins or payment tokens.
