NEXUS is the kind of cryptocurrency label that tries to sound central, linking, important, and a little generic all at once. By our assessment, that makes it broad enough to fit almost any token story and specific enough to fit none of them well. In practice it has the blunt, high-contrast feel that many crypto names use when they want instant recognition, but the trade-off is sameness: there are plenty of other projects reaching for the same word. It belongs to the large middle of the market where branding matters more than explanation. If someone wants a name that looks clean on a chart or exchange page, this does that; if someone wants a clue to the project’s actual job, the name gives almost nothing.
