By our assessment, its main appeal is the packaging: it puts a familiar market idea into crypto form, which can make access feel more flexible. The downside is that the wrapper does not remove the underlying market risk, so the token still moves with the asset it represents. In practice that means you are buying a token that mirrors something else, not a standalone crypto network. It sits well outside the ordinary payments-and-memes side of cryptocurrency and much closer to the tokenized-assets niche.
