Metis Bridged WETH (Metis Andromeda)

Metis Bridged WETH (Metis Andromeda) is the same bridge-and-wrapper idea, but for Ethereum value inside the Metis Andromeda network. By our assessment, its use case is narrow and very practical: it gives people a way to move ETH-linked liquidity into that chain for DeFi activity, trading, or other on-chain uses. The good part is that it preserves a familiar asset shape while letting it function somewhere else. The cost is added complexity, because every bridged token depends on the bridge and on the assumptions behind the wrapper. That means users have to pay attention to chain context rather than treating it like plain ETH. In everyday terms, it is a routing tool more than a standalone coin. Relative to native ETH, it is less direct; relative to generic wrapped tokens, it is specific to Metis Andromeda. It makes sense only if that network is already part of the picture.
