MercadoLibre (Ondo Tokenized Stock) is a tokenized-stock product for crypto users who want exposure to a listed company through a blockchain wrapper, and by our assessment, that wrapper is the whole attraction. Ondo’s tokenized stock line is meant to mirror familiar equities in a crypto format, so the appeal is obvious to people who already move in tokenized assets and want on-chain access to names they recognize. The trade-off is also obvious: you are buying a tokenized representation, not the plain old share sitting in a normal brokerage account. That makes the product more specialized than a stock app and less direct than holding the underlying equity. In practice it is a niche bridge between two worlds, useful only if you are comfortable with the structure around it.
