MFERS leans on meme-token logic as well, but it reads more like a community badge than a payment or storage asset. By our assessment, that gives it a clear social use: people who already belong to the joke or the group get the most out of it, while outsiders mostly see a token with very little built-in function. The strength is the same one meme assets often have, namely fast recognition inside a niche and a name that does a lot of the identity work. The downside is that this is thin ground for anything beyond attention, and the token’s value tends to depend on that attention staying alive. In practice MFERS is the sort of coin people hold, discuss, or trade as a signal, not as serious infrastructure. It sits well below ordinary utility crypto on purpose, and it does not pretend otherwise.
