MASQ is the kind of cryptocurrency that lives or dies by whether people can explain why they need it beyond the coin itself. By our assessment, it is still in the broad class where wallets, exchanges, and speculation do most of the visible work. That makes it straightforward to understand at a surface level, but also hard to praise for depth when the public story is not especially rich. The good side of that simplicity is low friction for anyone already used to crypto tokens. The weak side is that nothing about a name like MASQ tells you what everyday problem it solves. In practice it behaves like many small-cap coins do: attention matters, narrative matters, and real utility can be hard to separate from market noise. MASQ sits below the more clearly functional crypto projects and above the totally shapeless ones only if a buyer already believes in the story. It is not the place to look for a plain, obvious use case.
