MAD

MAD is a very short cryptocurrency name, and short names in this field often trade on force rather than explanation. By our assessment, that makes it memorable, but not especially revealing. The good part is that it is easy to say, easy to scan, and hard to confuse with a long project title. The bad part is the usual one for compact token names: they tell you almost nothing about what the coin is meant to do. In practice that leaves the user with branding first and substance second, which is common enough in crypto but still a real limitation. MAD sits in the speculative corner of the category, where a sharp name can travel farther than a clear purpose.
