By our assessment, that makes it useful mainly for people who care about protocol control and token-based governance rather than simple price moves. The strength of a governance token is that it gives a formal voice in a system; the weakness is that the voice is only as meaningful as the project’s actual decision process. In practice, these tokens can feel a bit ceremonial unless the surrounding community and rules are active. Compared with a plain utility coin, this one is narrower and more specific, and that is exactly why it exists. The whole point is participation in the system, not a broad payment role.
