By our assessment, its value is in that split between use and lockup. The obvious downside is that liquid staking only works as cleanly as the system behind it, so you take on wrapper risk and extra protocol dependence. In practice, that makes Liquid BGT a tool for people who already understand what wrapped exposure means and do not mind checking the plumbing. It sits beside the other liquid assets in crypto, not beside plain spot holdings, and that matters because the user is buying structure as much as exposure. If you want a simple asset you can just hold, this is not that; if you want flexibility with a technical edge, it is closer to the point.
