Legacy ICHI sounds like a carry-over from an earlier crypto design, and that is roughly how it reads: a token attached to a protocol family rather than a new idea on its own. By our assessment, the attraction is mostly for people who already know ICHI-style DeFi and want to follow the legacy version, not for someone looking for a fresh, simple coin. The good part is continuity with an established naming line and whatever protocol role the token still carries. The weak part is that legacy assets can be hard to read at a glance, and the name itself does not tell you much about current usefulness. In practice it asks for more homework than a plain token with a clear job. Legacy ICHI sits closer to niche DeFi history than to the easy end of cryptocurrency.
