KOMPETE

KOMPETE is a cryptocurrency token, so its job is the familiar one: move value on-chain and sit inside a speculative market rather than do anything physical. By our assessment, that makes it hard to judge as a product and easy to judge as a design, because the whole appeal lives in token economics, liquidity, and the story around the name. The downside is the usual one for this class of asset: the price can swing hard, the use case is narrow, and most holders are really taking a bet on demand for the token itself. In practice that means wallets, exchanges, and constant attention, not a set-and-forget experience. It sits with the many coins that depend more on market interest than on everyday utility, and the limit is simple: if the token has no clear reason to be held or used, it is just another ticker on a long list.
