Internet Money (ETH)

Internet Money (ETH) tries to sound like a neat pocket of digital cash, but the ETH tag makes it clear that it sits in the Ethereum orbit rather than in a standalone payment story. By our assessment, the main draw is the promise of a crypto asset that is easy to frame and easy to remember, which is useful in a crowded field. The trade-off is that the name is broad and a bit slippery, so the real use case can be harder to pin down than with a coin built around one obvious function. In practice, that often means more branding than substance at the surface level. Internet Money (ETH) is not trying to be a full explanation of money in crypto; it is a label that has to carry a lot, and that makes the ceiling fairly modest.
