Ink Bridged WETH (Ink) is a wrapped ether token placed inside the Ink environment for people who need Ethereum-style value there. By our assessment, its useful part is straightforward: it gives users a familiar ETH-linked asset in a different network context, which is what bridged or wrapped tokens are for. The trade-off is also straightforward, because wrapped assets add bridge dependence and extra moving pieces, so they are never as clean as native ETH on its home chain. In practice this kind of token is less about holding and more about getting value to the place where the application sits. It belongs with other network-specific wrappers, not with simple standalone coins, and it only matters if Ink is the arena being used. The limit is the wrapper layer and the network around it.
