Integral is one of those cryptocurrencies whose name suggests something foundational, but in practice it still lives inside the usual crypto trade-off: utility is tied to a token system that only makes sense if the surrounding network matters. By our assessment, that makes it a coin for people who already understand the project context, not a broad everyday money substitute. Its appeal is the same thing that defines many smaller crypto assets: it can be neat inside its own ecosystem, yet it is not automatically easier to explain or use than a plain wallet asset. The downside is the familiar one for this category, namely that the value proposition can stay abstract outside the circle that already follows it.
