Geist FTM

Geist FTM is built for users who want Fantom exposure inside a DeFi setting rather than a plain spot holding. By our assessment, that makes it a protocol token with a narrow job: carry FTM through a system that can use it for lending, liquidity, or similar on-chain actions. The upside is the same one these wrapped assets usually have: more flexibility inside the protocol than a simple external wallet balance. The downside is the extra dependency on the platform and its rules, which is never a small thing in crypto. In practice, it will feel useful only if the surrounding DeFi stack is already part of the plan. Geist FTM is less a general-purpose coin than a tool for a specific workflow.
