GODL

GODL is a cryptocurrency, so it lives in the world of tokens that can move fast on narrative and slow on substance. By our assessment, its appeal is the familiar crypto promise of a tradable asset with a compact name and a simple story, and that is enough for people who want exposure to the category rather than a specific utility. The downside is the same one that hangs over most coins without a stronger public record: it depends on attention, liquidity and sentiment more than on any built-in use. In practice that usually means watching charts, trading venues and community buzz instead of a product people can plainly use. Compared with larger coins, it sits much closer to speculation than infrastructure, and the ceiling is set by how much trust the market gives it. GODL is for people who understand that trade-off and not for anyone looking for a stable, everyday payment tool.
