Escrowed LBR is a cryptocurrency token, and by our assessment, it sits in the common “wrapped or locked asset” corner of the market rather than trying to be a general-purpose coin. Its appeal is tied to escrow-style holding and to whatever system it belongs to, so the point is usually controlled transfer rather than everyday spending. That also makes it narrower than the big payment coins: useful inside its own setup, less convincing outside it. In practice, these tokens tend to be fiddly, because the value depends on the rules around custody, release, and redemption more than on simple send-and-receive use. Escrowed LBR will make sense to people already dealing with that ecosystem, and much less to anyone looking for a straightforward currency.
